This afternoon there was an earthquake in Yucaipa that we felt pretty good at work in Redlands. Yucaipa is just a few freeway exits east of Redlands and the home to many ESRI employees. It was a 4.9 magnitude and certain got everyone’s attention in the milestone review meeting I was in. A milestone review meeting at ESRI is when all the different teams come into a conference room and give a status on their development projects to the senior management (including Jack). This was a meeting to remember as this was the biggest earthquake this close to Redlands in several years.
