Thing are going well here in Warsaw for the ESRI European Users Conference. Yesterday at the plenary session Jack outlined his vision of GIS helping us manage our world and talk about the advances in the ArcGIS platform.  David Maguire and other ESRI staff then did several demos of the new ArcGIS 9.2 features.  I showed the new ArcGIS Engine developer controls and commands for developers.  Then towards the end of the day, David and I announced and showed ArcGIS Explorer for the first time publicly.  I got a lot of positive feedback on the new UI design and the ability to work with several different Servers.

Today I’m meeting with users and holding a Developer Special Interest Group at lunch.  Then this afternoon there will be several developer focused sessions.

Posted from the Warsaw Palace of Culture.

More information on 9.2 will be coming but it's still a little too early for details. But I can say that there will be some new extension to Engine and several new controls, commands and tools for developers to use.
