    Cold Walk

As many of you know, I have the luxury of being able to walk to work. This is normally very enjoyable this time of year.  But the last few mornings, have been quite cold for Redlands.  At 7:00am this morning, it was 39 F… I know 39 F is warm for some parts of the world this time of year but for us in California it’s cold.

Is the sky still hazy and yellow in Redlands this time of year? I was a summer intern at ESRI a few years ago and 39° sounds incredibly pleasant. My memories of that summer in the IE include 30 straight days of temperatures above 100° and a week above 105°.

Winter is the best here in Redlands - clear blue sky and sunny. I love the weather between Nov and April because it's highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s most days. It's too bad summer internships are in the summer when it's hot. What team did you intern with?

I was all over the place. I worked with a lot of different people on various projects over 12 weeks. Officially, I think I was with "Database Services", but I may not remember that correctly. I didn't spend much time with my official team because the project got a late start. This was back in 2000. I'm sure a lot has changed since then.
