    81 points

Kobe scores 81 points! That’s the most points ever scored in an NBA basketball during my life time. And as a life long Lakers fan, I was impressed and happy that the Lakers won the game. 81 is a huge number, I’ve watched games this year when the whole team struggles to score 81. The excitement of 81 helped deal with the defeat of the Carolina Panthers in the NFC championship game. The Panthers didn’t exist when I was growing up in Carolina but I still cheer for them. But with them out, I’m not sure who to cheer for in the Super Bowl.
