No damage from wildfires here in Redlands but the air is smoky causing school to be canceled for the rest of the week. However we could see the flames on the local mountains at night. Hopefully thing clear up soon as there are a lot of people evacuated from there homes in the local mountain communities.

Here's a new developer opportunity for ESRI Business Partners.
StreetMap Mobile Software Developer Kit (SDK) allows developers to build custom mobile mapping and navigation applications for personal navigation devices and in-vehicle systems. The StreetMap Mobile SDK consists of a set of COM components and developer resources and provides advanced functionality for deploying powerful applications including
- Real-time GPS navigation
- Customizable map rendering
StreetMap Mobile utilizes street data in ESRI's Smart Data Compression (SDC) 2.0 format and is optimized for rapid map display, accurate routing, and high-performance geocoding.
North American commercial street data from Tele Atlas and NAVTEQ is available through ESRI and includes complete cartographic layers and cultural features.
StreetMap Mobile SDK is available to members of the ESRI Business Partner Program.

I recently spoke with a non GIS web developer that loved Flex from Adobe. So I decided I need to take a look at Flex and ArcWeb Services.

My family and I recently returned from Park City, UT. We had a great time visiting family and friends and taking some time to enjoy the beautiful fall colors of the Utah mountains and canyons.

Things were going pretty good with my ACL rehab... At 13 weeks I started jogging and had full range of motion. But after a few weeks of jogging some pain returned to the knee so the therapist have had me stop running this week. When I would try and run, the muscles in the back of the knee and upper calf would tighten up making it hard to unlock my knee and bend it back. So I've been focusing on that area plus hamstrings and hope to be running again soon. I'm now 16 weeks post-op and feel like I'm at week 13 again. It's disappointing to feel like I lost 3 weeks of rehab. I'm hoping this is only minor setback and I can be on my way to full recover. My next goal is to run a 5k pain free by Thanksgiving.
